This tip can save time at the end of the trip when travelling national or international as most people don't think of this. When collecting a hire car, always program this destination in your GPS as home before leaving the hire car premise. I found this out the hard way on my first travel to the UK, Heathrow is not an easy place to find your hire car depot when you are totally focused on your flight times and check-in.
