Illuminate you travel

The one thing I never travel without is a small torch. There are so many reasons to have one, from moving quietly in a dorm, to finding your way in a dark unlit street. A torch even comes in handy to read a book or find something in the bottom of the bag. I have taken to travelling with a wind up torch now, because you do not have to worry about batteries being flat. SOmetimes you have to replace the rechargables in the torch, but that is not a problem, and even if that is faulty you can still have light by winding as you walk.
