Insurance

If you can't afford insurance - don't go.

There are so many things that may go wrong, spend the money and know you are covered.

A friend of mine was hit by a car in Paris (the driver was drunk - she was on the foot path) she flew home with a nurse on a stretcher (costs 12 seats, plus the nurses fare) and her medical bills have were massive. Insurance covered the lot, including flying her mum over to see her in hospital and help escort her home.
