Patience & Timing

Learn to be patient and allow enough time for site seeing and travel. I hated waiting in queues for anything or anywhere (I'll pay more for petrol elsewhere than sit in a line of cars to save some money), on my first ever overseas trip last year to Europe I eventually understood that waiting is part of the trip and experience, take in the surroundings and learn to people watch while you are waiting.
