Put things in the same place every time

When traveling it is easy to misplace items like your house keys, your passport, your hotel receipts or your parking ticket for the airport lot. To help avoid this, designate a specific place in your briefcase, backpack, purse or wallet for each item and then make sure you put things away in that place only every time. It take some time to get used to and some discipline, but once you do, you will rarely lose anything again.
