Ron's Tip

Security for Personal Information

Always retrieve the credit card information (produced when reception staff swipe your card as a security check at check in) slip used by hotels etc to ensure that they cover themselves for room damage/room bar etc or other unexpected expenses incurred by you during your stay. This will ensure that your personal banking and credit card details are not available (after you have departed) to unscrupulous employees or failing management systems and to ensure there safe keeping. The hotels staff etc will be reluctant to return them but simply insist as the bank/insurance will NOT cover fraudulent events where you have provided details of cards etc to third parties without being present.
