Kathryn's Tip

Sending Postcards

If you are heading off for a couple of weeks and usually send postcards to family or friends, the following tip is three-fold.
Type address labels for everyone you want to receive a postcard, even 2 per person (if away for longer trips). This means: 1 – you don’t need to take your address book with you (won’t lose it); 2 – you won’t forget anyone; and 3 – Amongst all the writing on the postcard the address stands out for the postie!!
I know in the age of technology that iphones / emails etc. have made things simpler, but some people still prefer to receive a postcard in the mail, and the souvenir is a great reminder of your travels.
