Michelle's TipWandering with purpose ;)While I love to wander aimlessly around a new place, stumbling across sites, shops and places to eat, I also like to see and experience as much as possible. To help me do this, I get a map of my destination and use sites like trip advisor and travel books to mark in all the places I want to visit. I then plan out a few daily 'itineraries of "planned wandering'. The itineraries include places for coffee, food, shopping, sightseeing etc. This might sound rigid, but I am never strict about visiting only the places planned. If I happen to find something else along the way, my itinerary can quickly change. The beauty of it is that at the end of each day, I am never left wondering whether I missed something amazing! Just incase you were wondering though, I still do have days of wandering aimlessly :) |
