I never use the hotel shower mat for my feet. Instead I wash my undies every night (and other clothes when dirty), in the hand basin. I then wring out as much excess water as possible by hand. I then place the item/s in the shower mat, roll it very tightly and then wring it. It is amazing how much water the shower mat absorbs! Undies are usually dry by morning, and housekeeping will issue a dry mat every day.
